One of the guests of the festival Ahmed Imamović was the special guest of the Radio B92 one-hour talk show "Blow up". NEWSPAPERS: Ahmed Imamović was also interviewed by daily newspaper ‘Danas' (We are in an environment of false moral) and ‘Politika' (A ticket for the right to live). About ‘Free zone' festival was also written in daily newspapers Politika, Glas javnosti, Danas, Blic, Večernje novosti; weekly Reporter and NIN; the monthly Yellow cab. ‘Danas' announced the beginning of the festival with an article under the title "Human destinies on a wide screen", ‘Glas javnosti' "The fight for a normal life", ‘Politika' "A whole festival dedicated to human rights", ‘Blic' "Documentaries about dramatic lifes" and ‘Večernje novosti': "A film festival in a cultural center". The weekly "Reporter" few days before the beginning of the festival published an article with the title "A really free zone" subtitled "How to meet with the rest of the world once again". A very positive article was published in the weekly ‘Vreme' - "Stories about everyday heroes": "...the festival was not only organised but also very well attended, nicely designed, ambiciousely advertised, well covered by medias. Shortely it was more than decent for a first edition of a cultural event in our conditions. And that's not all. The majority of the authors of these films we had the opportunity to see was present at the festival and even answered the questions from the audience. A good atmosphere, a great audience and the wide attention that this festival had provoqued just reminds that this sort of non commercial films, even when it has its audience still hasn't got a proper infrastructure." The ‘Free zone' festival was also covered on internet portals.
