FREE ZONE documentary and feature films festival (which will take place December 7th through 11th at the Belgrade Cultural Centre for the first time) will present destinies of people in the world today, those ordinary people who are fighting for their basic rights...
The festival will present 20 international films (including feature films, short films, and documentaries) that were already awarded at the festivals in Venice, Berlin, Montreal, Locarno, Montpellier, Prague, Paris, London, Bologna, Barcelona...
Baghdad Liberace,  the film nominated for the BAFTA award (British Oscar) in the documentary film category, will open the festival, followed by Paradise now!, which was awarded the Blue Angel award at this year's Berlin festival, Keep not silent, awarded the Israeli Film Academy award (Isreali Oscar) for the best documentary, Living rights awarded 2005 in Locarno - films screened at the Sundance Film Festival (whose pesident is Mr. Robert Redford), the controversal film from Bosnia and Herzegovina Go West, screened at the festivals in Montreal and Monpellier, and two films from Serbia and Montenegro by Želimir Žilnik - "Kenedi is going back home" and "Where was Kenedi two years later?", the latter being a premiere.
